Pre-Ordering Assassin’s Creed 2 At GameStop Nets Palazzo Medici Unlock Code

Assassin’s Creed 2 looks drop-dead gorgeous, which is already a sound enough reason to pre-order a copy by our standards, but here is another: GameStop locations across North America are running a promotional campaign in which those who pre-order the title will receive an unlock code to explore a virtual rendition of the expansive Palazzo Medici in-game.
Built in the mid-1400s, this majestic palace is said to hold a wealth of treasure within the confines of its ancient walls. What sort of treasures? Looks like we’ll have to wait until November to find out.
Keep in the mind the offer is limited to online and in-store pre-orders of either the Xbox 360 or PS3 version.
