THQ announced today that it will be publishing de Blob for the Nintendo DS and Wii. Development on the Wii version is being helmed by Blue Tongue Entertainment, while the Nintendo DS version is under works by Helixe Studio.
Originally released for PC, the premise of de Blob is to add color to a city shaded in grey. Playing as de Blob, gamers will embark on a quest to re-animate the city of Chroma, and bring spunk and character back to the oppressed, by splattering buildings, landmarks, and citizens with color.
More information and screens are expected to be released during E3, but so far we know that the Wii version will feature a single player campaign as well as a multiplayer mode that supports up to four competitors via split screen.
