Bethesda Preps Oblivion Game of the Year Edition

Late last week, GameStop revealed a product listing for a GOTY Edition of yesteryear’s Oblivion. Today, Bethesda confirmed that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTY Edition will indeed be heading to the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 this September.
The GOTY Edition will include the original game plus both expansion sets, Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine. Great news for people who still haven’t played Oblivion yet, but not-so good news for owners of the PS3 version. The PS3 version initially included Knights of the Nine, but not Shivering Isles. And from the looks of it, PS3 owners will have to re-buy the game if they want Shivering Isles. I suppose putting the expansion up for purchase on PSN is possible, but the press release makes no mention of it.
