Famed Metal Gear Solid producer Hideo Kojima is up to his cryptic ways again. Fitting, as E3 is right around the corner. The Kojima Productions site has been updated with a mysterious clip that shows all sorts of things being cut — from watermelon to a slice of bread.

It’s a lot to take in at first. Any ideas as to what Kojima is possibly referring to?  A “director’s cut” rendition of one of his current titles would certainly jive with the imagery here. Metal Gear Solid 4: Subsistence? Or perhaps we’ll see more of Metal Gear Solid: Rising. Come to think of it, the hack n’ slash nature of Zone of the Enders does suggest that it could be lurking behind the curtains as well.

The site is set to update in four days, so we’ll know more by E3. That is, unless Kojima pulls another one of his tricks, like teasing a teaser.
