Marvel today officially announced that the first batch of super hero and super villain costumes will be made available in the LittleBigPlanet universe next month. Come July 7, players be able to dress up their Sackboy and Sackgirl in authentic Marvel threads. It’s been a long time coming, seeing as the first pieces of concept art were unveiled during Comic Con last year.

Fans can look forward to four different Marvel Costume Packs each week, with each individual pack featuring five different costumes depicting Marvel’s iconic range of heroes and villains. A full breakdown can be found below.

* The Human Torch
* Magneto

In addition to the aforementioned costume offerings, Marvel has announced plans to release a “Marvel Level Kit,” which pits the burlap-styled avatars of LBP in a struggle against the nefarious Magneto across four levels. The level kit is packed with Marvel-themed resources designed to aid your creation efforts.

While there’s no word on pricing yet, expect both the costume and level kit to fall in line with previous LBP DLC at around $2-3 and $6 respectively.
