Next Nintendo Console Will Make Jaws Drop, Says Metroid Creator

Although details remain nonexistent, Nintendo is already revving up the hype train for its next console, with Metroid co-creator Yoshio Sakamoto telling Spanish site 3DJuegos that the company’s Wii follow-up “will leave you with your mouth open.”
Sakamoto reiterated that Nintendo’s key focus remains locked on innovation, a commitment echoed by this year’s announcement of its glasses-free 3DS handheld. Any takers on where Nintendo will realistically go from here? While it could always use refinement, motion control tech has essentially hit its peak and the implementation of 3D wouldn’t exactly qualify as a shocker.
