Mother 3 Character Appears In Brawl

Brawl creator Masahiro Sakurai revealed today that Lucas from the currently Japan-only Mother 3 will be a part of Super Smash Bros. Brawl’s playable character roster.
The youth with the psychic powers has appearedâ€â€Âit’s Lucas! He makes his anticipated debut from the Japan-only release MOTHER 3.
While he is timid in nature, he fights splendidly. Is it possible he can surpass even Ness?!
Hopefully this is a subtle hint that a US release of Mother 3 is in the works. Else, Nintendo is doing a great job at teasing us Mother fans.
