Contra 4 Dated

Leave it to WayForward and Konami to bring back old-school, bare-bones shooting mechanics into 2007. A member over at NeoGAF has gotten his grubby hands on the marketing spec sheet for Contra 4 DS, revealing a November 13 release date.
Contra 4 will utilize both DS screens, feature upgradeable weapons and new items such as the grappling hook and 2-player co-op. All very slight upgrades over the original Contra formula which should make this return of a classic shoot ’em up series truly memorable.
