Crytek: We’re Still Working On Crysis 2 DX11 Patch, Expect Details Closer To Release

It seems Crytek is finally preparing to break the silence on Crysis 2’s turbulent DX11 patch. In a post on the company’s official forums, a rep stated that “We would like to announce that there will be a DX11 patch released for Crysis 2. We are working to get the best out of DX11, so we’ll wait to announce the features until a little closer to release.”
The release of Crysis 2 stirred up somewhat of an outcry from the more vocal of PC gamers as it was and still is limited to running under DX9. While no release window on the patch was given, at least we now have official confirmation that it is indeed coming.
