Rare Staying Quiet On Perfect Dark 2 Rumors

Yesterday Indian gaming site GameGuru started a rash of internet speculation when it claimed that Rare was working on a sequel to the hit N64 title Perfect Dark. Today Rare downplayed the rumor, giving it the old “no comment.”
There’s always rumours going around about different games we may or may not be doing but we’d prefer not to comment on rumours at this stage.
Which most likely means, Perfect Dark 2 is in development and we aren’t ready to announce anything about it at this time, but at the same time we’d like to keep the rumors afloat.
