Rumor: Xbox 360 Fall Update Adds Family Timer

According to a user over at the official Xbox.com forums, a pamphlet included with the purchase of a Guitar Hero 3 keychain indicates that a new “Family Timer” feature is coming soon to the Xbox 360.
The respective pamphlet reads:
* A simple tool that lets you manage how much time your kids spend on their Xbox 360.
* Manage time in daily or weekly increments. Easy for parent to suspend or add time.
* Available in December 2007 only through Xbox Live.
Nothing too exciting, but should be a welcoming feature to parents. Interestingly, the feature list also denotes that the Family Timer utility will be available next month. Perhaps that means we’ll see the Fall update sometime around the beginning of December.
