Microsoft: 310K 360s Sold During Thanksgiving Week
by November 29, 2007 @ 4:44 pm

Microsoft has revealed that hardware sales for the Xbox 360 totaled 310,000 units this past Thanksgiving week. Not too shabby, especially when compared to Wii sales of 350,000 units during the same period.
Unfortunately, Sony still has not released raw numbers, so we’re still unsure of how well the PS3 fared against 360. However according to estimates, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg believes that 360 outsold the PS3 3 by 2 to 1 last week.
Additionally, Microsoft is rather pleased with how well the Xbox 360 Arcade model is performing. In fact it has performed above expectations and has accounted for a larger percentage of total sales than initially expected.
