Sakurai Details Basic Brawl Mode

In majority of online games, when you’re facing off against a random opponent and they decide to log off all of a sudden because they’re losing, the game session ends with them leaving. Super Smash Bros. Brawl breaks this annoying trend by replacing your dropped connection with a computer controlled character.
Even better, the change is fully transparent. When someone logs off during a match in basic brawl mode, they are instantly replaced with the computer controller character. You won’t even notice it.
