Nintendo Announces Wii Raincheck Program
by December 14, 2007 @ 11:26 am

Unable to get your hands on a Wii this holiday season? Then you’ll be relieved to know that Nintendo is launching a “Wii Raincheck” program across all US GameStop retailers.
How it works is simple. You pay for a Wii, in full, at any GameStop location on December 20 and 21. If the store is out of stock, you get a raincheck that guarantees you a Wii by the end of January. In a conference call earlier today, Reggie Fils-Aime said that “tens of thousands” of rainchecks will be available.
