Sonic RPG Deets Surface

The latest issue of Nintendo Power magazine has the exclusive on BioWare’s ambitious RPG take on the Sonic franchise. Titled Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, the game is said to be controlled fully by the DS stylus ala Phantom Hourglass.
Players will be able to control a party of up to 4 characters. In total there will be 11 playable characters, each with their own special abilities. Known characters include Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Rouge, Shadow, and Big the Cat.
Foes will appear on-screen so you’ll actually have to run into an enemy to initiate a battle sequence. Battles will be turn-based, fast-paced, and feature team attacks reminiscent of Square’s Chrono Trigger.
