FCC Filing Reveals White PS3 Model

FCC filings have revealed PlayStation 3 model CECHH01 — or Sony’s plans to bring the currently Japan-only White PS3 model to North America. The filings in question were uploaded to the FCC’s site back in October of 2007 but were requested to be withheld at the time to avoid premature release of sensitive information to marketing or release of the product to the public.
Additionally, the FCC site has photos of the unit, which confirm that it is a 40GB model (two USB ports, instead of four, and no memory stick reader).
