THQ Sheds Light On Red Faction 3

During THQ’s conference call today, company honcho Brian Farrell confirmed that the next entry in its GeoMod-powered FPS series Red Faction is due for a release in fiscal 2009, which begins in April.
Akin to previous titles in the series, Red Faction 3 will feature highly destructible environments. Furthermore, Farrell confirmed that the game is in development by Volition Studios, the same studio that worked on the first two entries, and will see a multi-platform release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
Expect more details to surface within the coming weeks.
