Portal 2 Confirmed

Valve’s critically acclaimed Portal, which took home numerous awards at 2007’s 11th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards Show, including Computer Game of the Year, is getting the sequel treatment.
Portal lead designer Kimberly Swift confirmed the sequel in an interview with G4TV:
Well, I believe Doug Lombardi who is our lead marketing director at Valve, has announced Portal 2
Actually, Doug never announced Portal 2, he said more Portal was on the way. Still, we’ll take this as a confirmation that Portal 2 is indeed in development.
