Mobile carrier Verizon announced today that Metal Gear Solid Mobile is now exclusively available for purchase to Verizon Wireless customers.

Previously available only in Japan, the cellphone version of Metal Gear Solid is a full original 3D game, taking place in-between the events of MGS and MGS 2: Sons of Liberty. Players once again assume the role of protagonist Solid Snake and infiltrate an enemy-controlled weapons facility in order to prevent the development of a deadly technology that could claim the lives of millions.

Metal Gear Solid Mobile is available now for Get It Now-capable phones and costs $10.99 for unlimited use, or $4.99 for monthly access.
