Saints Row 2 Gets U.S. Release Date

THQ’s answer to open-world juggernaut Grand Theft Auto IV has been given a firm release date. Saints Row II will ship to U.S. retailers on August 26 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the company announced today at its Gamers Day event in San Francisco.
IGN reports that THQ said it will launch a pre-order campaign for the title on its official website later this evening at 6PM PST.
