Rumor Smash: GTA IV Only Needs 3340KB Free Space On HDD

Over the past couple weeks, unsubstantiated rumors cropped up that the PlayStation 3 version of Grand Theft Auto IV had a mandatory HDD installation – similar to other high-profile titles like Devil May Cry 4 and Lost Planet.
Just so we’re clear, this rumor is completely false. One UK gamer managed to snap a photo of the game’s official box art, which reveals that 3340KB of free space is required on your PS3’s HDD. That’s only around 3MB of space for the uninformed. Nothing major, probably for in-game saves.
