The Last of Us Confirmed for 2013

No one really knew when The Last of Us would launch on the PlayStation 3. While there are certainly many individuals who probably thought the game would arrive later this year, there were also a lot of people who didn’t expect it to hit Sony’s home console until sometime next year.
We can now confirm that The Last of Us will indeed launch in 2013. Naughty Dog Director Bruce Straley made the announcement on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, which has now become the place to get the hottest video game news.
No word on when exactly in 2013 Naughty Dog will release The Last of Us, but it’s good to at least know what year we’ll get the chance to play the game. Admittedly, I wasn’t too hot for it at first, but the more I see of the game, the more I want to play it. The Last of Us, we’ll be waiting for you.
