Europe gets second-class PS3

SCEE announced today that the European PS3 console will include very limited backwards compatibility with PS2 games. Sony says that while it is possible some games will be fixed via future firmware upgrades, company resources will be increasingly focused on developing new PS3 games and entertainment features.
