Namco Bandai Announces PowerUp Forever

As part of its digital distribution initiative, Namco Bandai today announced PowerUp Forever, an original sci-fi shooter scheduled to hit the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade service later this summer.
In the game, players pilot a lone space ship in an extraterrestrial universe while blasting away at alien-like foes. What separates PowerUp Forever from your typical arcade shooter is that destroying enemies will allow your ship to manifest their energy. In doing so, your ship will begin to transform in sheer size and shape, revealing even larger enemies.
