The day a lot of folks have been waiting for has arrived. It’s the launch day of Borderlands 2 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in North America. In other words, it’s the unofficial yet still awesome Borderlands 2 Day!

Now, chances are you picked up the game at midnight last night. If that’s the case, I imagine a lot of you are skipping work and/or school. While I normally don’t condone that sort of behavior (Stay in school, kids!), if you did decide to do that, I hope you’re having fun and enjoying your shiny new copy of Borderlands 2.

Already Gearbox Software’s FPS/RPG hybrid has received its share of positive reviews. The consensus seems to be that this is pretty much more Borderlands, which is definitely a good thing. There are also plenty of kind words directed toward the game’s writing, which featured Anthony Burch at the helm.

I’ve yet to play Borderlands 2 myself, but I’ll be picking up my copy later today. Once I do that, I intend on effectively shutting everyone around me out and focusing on the game. Seriously, those people shouldn’t even bother to call me, because I’m not answerin’!
