A lot of folks were wondering if Sony was actually going to launch PlayStation Mobile. Though the digital platform had plenty of promise, many speculated that it would never see the light of day. Well, the day has arrived, and there’s light everywhere … or something to that extent.

PlayStation Mobile allows you to check out a number of cross-platform titles through your Vita or certified Android device. As noted on Joystiq, accessing the store through the Vita is fairly simple, while getting to it on a mobile device is a multi-step process.

There are currently 21 titles available on PlayStation Mobile, 20 of which are games, as well as a lone app. The following is the full list for North America including the game titles and pricing info:

  • Aqua Kitty – Milk Mine Defender ($3.49)
  • Beats Slider ($0.79)
  • Beats Trellis ($0.79)
  • Everbody’s Arcade (Free demo)
  • Flick Hockey ($2.29)
  • Fuel Tiracas ($0.49)
  • Frederic – Resurrection of Music ($3.99)
  • Hungry Giraffe ($2.99)
  • incurvio ($7.49)
  • Loot The Land ($3.99)
  • Magic Arrows ($4.99)
  • Numblast ($2.99)
  • Nyoqix ($5.49)
  • Rebel ($1.99)
  • Samurai Beatdown ($0.99)
  • Super Crate Box ($3.49)
  • Tractor Trails ($2.29)
  • Twist Pilot ($3.49)
  • Underline ($2.79)
  • Wipe! ($1.49)
  • Word Blocked ($1.99)

As you can see, there are a number of games at varying prices. So far, I’ve heard some great things about both Aqua Kitty and Super Crate Box. Apparently, Vita controls really make the latter even more awesome than it already was.
