Uncharted: Fight for Fortune is a Card Game That’s Headed to PS Vita

I apologize in advance if this isn’t the news so many Uncharted fans wanted to read about the series’ future. That said, let’s get to the topic at hand, shall we? Developer SCEA Bend Studio has announced that Uncharted: Fight for Fortune will be available on the Vita on December 4.

Unlike every other successful Uncharted game to date, Fight for Fortune is a turn-based card game. Players take control of faction cards and must defeat all opposition, all the while acquiring stat boosts and special abilities. A special patch is set to release for Uncharted: Golden Abyss, and it will allow players to collect and power up artifacts within that game to use in Fight for Fortune.

Check out the game’s trailer for a closer look at the action. (Do card games even have action?) Also, that music is ridiculously dramatic for a card game. Fight for Fortune will be available for download on the PlayStation Network for $4.99 and will feature day one DLC. Seriously, this may be some of the worst gaming news Sony has released in a while. In any case, here’s hoping Fight for Fortune is actually fun. Just because it’s a spin-off card game doesn’t mean it’s definitely going to be bad, right?
