First GTA IV Review Hits the Internet
by April 25, 2008 @ 6:17 pm

Media outlet IGN has posted up its seven-page long review of Rockstar’s forthcoming epic Grand Theft Auto IV, awarding the game a perfect score of 10/10. The last game to receive such a score from the site was Soul Calibur when it hit in 1999 for SEGA’s now-defunct Dreamcast.
The reviewer was extremely impressed with the NaturalMotion-powered physics and said it all runs “extremely well.” Rather expectedly, there are a few framerate hitches here and there, but nothing as serious as the previous 3D console versions of GTA.
In terms of visuals, the PlayStation 3 version is said to have “better anti-aliasing” and “far less pop-in,” while the 360 edition has richer colors. In the end though, the review recommended to purchase the same version your friends are buying, simply because the online multiplayer component is “awesome.”
Only four more days to go, folks.
