Pokemon Platinum Hits Japan This Fall

One has to wonder when Nintendo will run out of mineral names for its handheld Pokemon games. The company today announced that Pokemon Platinum is due this fall in Japan. Not an entirely new offering, the title will serve as an expansion to Diamond/Pearl like Pokemon Crystal was to Gold/Silver.
Legendary Pokemon Giratina will star on the game’s front cover. No word on a North American release date as of yet.
