First Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff Screens Impress, Wii Version Confirmed

Tecmo today sent over a selection of all-new screenshots from the bo-less but still faithful Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff, which due out across North America on Nintendo DS in September.
Despite the exclusion of famed running back Bo Jackson, Tecmo is still promising the game will be awesome. Looking at these shots, we tend to agree.
On a separate note, the developer confirmed that a Wii version of Tecmo Bowl is currently in the works, but was not ready to disclose specifics, as the title is scheduled for a 2009 release.
