Call of Duty Ghosts

As expected, the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts was a major part of today’s Xbox One press event. Also as expected, it was announced that the Xbox One version of the military first-person shooter would get all content first. I supposed we can include the Xbox 360 in those plans, too.

In addition to this news, we also got a look at Ghosts in action on the Xbox One. It looks quite nice, though I’m personally not a big fan of the visuals in military shooters because I find them kind of drab. Still, as a technical piece, I can’t deny the fact that it looked good.

Also, one of the biggest new features announced for the game was the inclusion of a dog partner. I’m being serious here, folks. This Navy SEAL helper animal will sniff out threats and play the part of your ally.

Some new features for multiplayer were also showcased. Environmental destruction is now a huge part of the experience, and players can use the world to their advantage by collapsing structures and so on.
