Proteus

Curve Studios took to the PlayStation Blog to announce that Proteus will come to the PlayStation 3 and Vita this fall. The company is working alongside the game’s original developers Ed Key and David Kanaga to bring the lovely indie title to the PlayStation Network.

Proteus features procedurally generated worlds that you must explore in first-person perspective. Every time you play, you get a different experience, and you’re encouraged to revisit this colorful, music-filled land again and again.

Curve has garnered a reputation for bringing existing titles to the PlayStation Network. Already the studio has helped port Thomas Was Alone, and it’s currently working on moving Lone Survivor to Sony’s download service, too.

No word on when exactly Proteus will arrive on the PlayStation Network aside from the fall window. We also don’t have pricing info at this time. That said, we do know that the game will offer Cross Buy functionality, which is definitely great news.
