Lone Survivor

In case you weren’t already aware, Lone Survivor is a damn fine survival horror game. It was great when it originally landed on the PC, and the enhanced Director’s Cut on the PlayStation Network is awesome, as well. Thankfully, for PC and Mac owners who feel they’ve missed out on the delicious extras of Lone Survivor: The Director’s Cut, well, you folks are getting treated to exactly that.

Creator Jasper Byrne took to the Superflat Games blog to discuss the future of Lone Survivor. He’ll be releasing the Director’s Cut version of his creepy gem for both the PC and Mac, and it’ll be coming to Steam and GOG.com. While pricing details are still under wraps, we do know that anyone who already owns the game will get the updated content absolutely free of charge.

Quite fittingly, Lone Survivor: The Director’s Cut will be available on the PC and Mac beginning on October 31. That’s Halloween, which means you have to play the game that day, because it’s totally appropriate for one of the best holidays ever!
