Inside the Xbox 360 Elite

The hardware gurus over at TheLlamma have gotten their hands on an Xbox 360 Elite before the street date and decided to crack it open.
The report reveals that the Elite contains a Hitachi GDR-3120L FK78 DVD drive, which surely is a welcoming addition for those looking to hack their 360 via the drive flashing methods. Besides the inclusion of a standard HDMI 1.2 port and 120GB HDD, much of the core hardware has remained the same.
