Telltale Games released Sam & Max Save the World, the first of three seasons of episodic Sam & Max games, on Xbox 360 in 2009. When Telltale shut down in 2018, four of the studio’s original employees formed Skunkape Games and acquired the rights to Telltale’s Sam & Max games.
