Tecmo Places Gag Order On Itagaki

In response to Tomonobu Itagaki’s suit against publisher Tecmo, the company hit the outspoken Ninja Gaiden director with a temporary injunction order on June 10, according to a Famitsu report. Although he doesn’t officially leave until July 1, Itagaki is now prohibited from accepting interviews regarding Tecmo and is not allowed to speak with media figures about the company.

Tecmo Shares Plummet Following Itagaki’s Leave

Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword Hits March 2008

Tecmo today announced that Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword will be shipping in March of 2008 for the ever-popular Nintendo DS. The game features a unique control scheme that makes excellent use of the DS’ stylus controls. As Ryu Hayabusa, players will use the stylus to run, jump, attack, and cast a form of ninja magic called Ninpo.
