PS Vita to Get YouTube App Soon
by David Sanchez on June 1, 2012 @ 1:20 pm

Don Mesa of SCEA took to the PlayStation Blog yesterday to announce that YouTube would soon be available on the PlayStation Vita. The popular video streaming service joins other recently announced apps for Sony’s handheld including nico nico and Skype.
Mesa made sure to point out that YouTube will be a free download on the PS Vita Store. While he didn’t mention a specific date, the Sony handheld director announced that the YouTube app would be available at the end of June.
Vita owners have been clamoring for YouTube on the handheld for some time now, and I’m certain we all knew it was coming. Mesa stated that more features would soon be available on the portable device, so watch out for other notable apps down the road.
