Ace Attorney 5 Is 3DS Bound

Capcom has announced that Ace Attorney 5 is in development, the latest entry in its popular courtroom drama series. And, in a non-shocker, it’s coming to Nintendo 3DS.

Beyond that, not too many details were divulged. An Andriasang report reveals that the Phoenix Wright will return as the main character, after taking a backseat to newcomer Apollo Justice in Ace Attorney 4. Additionally, Wright has a new partner, a mysterious girl dressed in yellow clothing.

Not surprisingly, there’s no word on a US release as of yet. Capcom still has yet to localize the spinoff Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth 2, despite it releasing in Japan last February. However, the mainline entries in the series have garnered more attention stateside, so hopefully it’ll be made a priority.
