Former Wii Exclusive Muramasa: The Demon Blade Heads to Vita

Muramasa: The Demon Blade has got to be one of the Wii’s most stylish games. It offers up side-scrolling action gameplay and a slick art style that’s just enjoyable to behold.

Now it looks like Muramasa will be available to more gamers. According to a report on Joystiq, Sony stated at the Tokyo Game Show that the Vanillaware-developed Wii game would be getting the Vita treatment. Unfortunately, this announcement is only exclusive to the Japanese market at the moment. That said, we can still hope Muramasa makes it to the Vita in North America.

If you’re looking for a sweet action game to play on your Vita, I’d say that Muramasa probably has what you’re looking for. I’m fairly confident that it will come to our side of the globe, as the original title was pretty popular. Here’s hoping we get an announcement soon.
