Atlus’ Etrian Odyssey series delivered some truly enjoyable RPG experiences on Nintendo’s previous dual screen handheld, the original DS. It looks like the franchise will now make its 3DS debut, as Atlus has revealed Etrian Odyssey 4: Legends of the Titan.

Taking advantage of the 3DS hardware, Legends of the Titan will feature advanced visuals, 3D-rendered enemies, and full stereoscopic 3D support. Composer Yuzo Hoshiro will be on board to provide a fully orchestrated soundtrack. And if you’re a newcomer to the series or just don’t play too many RPGs in general, you may be glad to know that a new Casual option will allow for a much more easygoing experience.

Legends of the Titan is due out for the 3DS in North America sometime next year. The game will hit retailers for the standard $39.99 3DS price point.
