The cover art for the December issue of Game Informer has been revealed, and it features three tough-looking dudes that the publication states are the main characters in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5. The game will take place across a sprawling Los Santos, and according to reports, this is “the biggest open world Rockstar has created to date.”

It’s going to be interesting seeing how Rockstar utilizes three protagonists as opposed to just one in Grand Theft Auto 5. Game Informer stated that the ways in which the three characters will be used in the game will be “groundbreaking.” All right, things just got even more interesting.

In a report by CVG, UK publication ShortList was quoted as saying that the main character in the game would be “an East Coast gangster.” After moving to Los Santos to clean up his life and begin anew, he’s dragged right back into the same type of mess he’s trying to escape from. Well, I’m certain we would all hope for that. I mean, if he actually lived an honest life, it would make for a very boring game.

Rockstar has been doling out little bits of news on Grand Theft Auto 5, but this is the most we’ve learned of the game since it was first announced. We’re sure to get even more details in the coming months and in December’s Game Informer magazine.
