Jetpack Joyride Rockets to PS3, PS Vita

Developer Beatshapers took to the PlayStation Blog to announce that Jetpack Joyride is officially available on the PlayStation Network. Originally created by Halfbrick, this running man game has become quite notorious for delivering one of the most rewarding and addictive experiences in its respective genre.

Jetpack Joyride is available as a PlayStation Mini, which means you can play it on your PlayStation 3, Vita, and PSP. Options, you guys! Ideally, this is a hell of a game to take on the go with you, so the Vita and PSP versions are certainly welcome. I, however, had a blast with the Facebook version that was released a few months ago, which leads me to believe that playing the game on the PlayStation 3 would be equally blissful.

You can download Jetpack Joyride on the PlayStation Store for $3.99. Every save file will be treated to Final Blast, Head Start, and Quick Revive power-ups for one-time use, as well as a couple of skin and jetpack upgrades. Even though the game is available for free elsewhere, I’d argue that $3.99 is most certainly an enticing price tag. I know I’m tempted to buy it even after already investing hours into it.
