Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is out this week, and the game’s launch is being commemorated in quite the generous fashion by Sony, Sega, and Platinum Games. As noted on the PlayStation Blog, Vanquish is the latest addition to the Instant Game Collection and is free to download for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

The game is developed by Platinum Games, which also worked on Revengeance. If you dig the studio’s work, chances are Vanquish is right up your alley. If you’ve yet to play it and have a Plus subscription, it’s worth it to at least check out the game. I mean, it’s free!

Vanquish launched for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 back in 2010. The game, which is also downloadable on Xbox 360 Games on Demand, was added to the PlayStation Network in November.
