Saints Row IV Runs Super Fast Through One Million Sales

Saints Row IV

Well, that sure as hell didn’t take long. Deep Silver and Volition have revealed that Saints Row IV was able to push over one million units within its first week on the market. Not bad for a series that was once considered a Grand Theft Auto wannabe and subsequently went on to provide stunningly refreshing open world gameplay.

To sweeten things even more for Deep Silver and Volition, the PC version actually managed to trump its predecessor Saints Row: The Third by tripling sales on the platform. Additionally, the game took the top spot for the week in the UK and Germany.

In my review of Saints Row IV, I referred to the game as “a stupidly insane good time” and described its craziness and style as “cathartic.” Honestly, if you’re a fan of experiences that just constantly feed you rewards for every little thing you do, you should totally check out this latest endeavor from Volition.

Already the studio is looking to continue its profits with brand new DLC. The Presidential and Grass Roots add-ons were just released and look to offer even more wild absurdity to this already joyously silly package.
