During Sony’s press conference in Japan, publisher Kadokawa Games announced a brand new title for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita. The game in question is Natural Doctrine, a strategy RPG with a dark look and hellish characters.

Details are currently limited on the game, but you can check out the first trailer below. It’s gritty stuff, and it looks pretty cool. By the way, does that fellow in the screen above remind anyone else of Big Bull from Anarchy Reigns?

It’s hard to say at this point if and when Natural Doctrine will come to North America, as we’ve only seen a Japanese announcement. That said, this could be the kind offbeat title that niche game players totally dig.

Kadokawa previously published Lollipop Chainsaw and Killer Is Dead. The company has announced that a new internal studio is working on Natural Doctrine.
