Blitz Games Studios announced via press release this morning that it had officially closed its doors after 23 years. The UK-based company worked on numerous titles over the years, and it’s sad to see another long-running studio close down.

Among its most popular releases was Droplitz, a highly lauded puzzler published by Atlus and released on digital download platforms. Other works with the Blitz name include Epic Mickey 2, the Dizzy series, and Glover.

Already a number of UK studios have reached out to Blitz to lend a hand and bring on some team members. Here at eXophase, we would like to wish nothing but the best for the former Blitz employees.
