It’s very likely that if you enjoy video games, you’re playing Grand Theft Auto V today. Some of you may have picked it up last night at midnight. Others probably skipped work or school to start jacking cars and running over fools. Either way, today’s kind of a big day in gaming.

Already the game has managed to garner quite the positive critical reception. Various outlets have given it favorable reviews, with a handful of perfect scores given out for good measure.

Grand Theft Auto IV launched for current-gen platforms all the way back in 2008. That’s right, it’s been five years since the last home console installment in Rockstar’s beloved open world action-adventure series. I’d say it was about time for a new entry, right?
