Watch Dogs

One of the biggest news stories of the day surrounds Ubisoft’s upcoming hack-heavy espionage adventure Watch Dogs. It turns out the game isn’t launching next month as originally planned. Instead, the highly anticipated title will arrive sometime around spring 2014, as indicated on Ubisoft’s official blog.

No real reason was given for the delay. All Ubisoft stated was that it doesn’t want to slack off as far as quality is concerned. That leaves the door wide open for speculation.

If you pre-ordered a next-gen console bundle that includes Watch Dogs, you’re in the clear. Well, sort of. As reported by Destructoid, GameStop will fulfill console pre-orders, and you can pick up your copy of Watch Dogs when it launches. Amazon will also grant you your shiny new system, and more info is on its way from the online retailer.
