The Last of Us

If you were holding out on playing The Last of Us in the hopes that the game would eventually appear on the PlayStation 4, you might as well just play it already. As indicated by CVG, Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Monacelli stated that porting the game over to Sony’s next-gen console wasn’t on the studio’s current agenda.

When asked by a fan on the PlayStation Blog comments section about the matter, Monacelli replied, “We have no plans to do that.”

Fret not, though, because while we may never see The Last of Us on the PlayStation 4, we’ll at least see more of it on the PlayStation 3. This week marked the launch of the Abandoned Territories map pack, the first of three DLC packs planned for the game. The next one, which will be actual story DLC, will be released sometime this holiday season between December and January.
