PS4

If you’re in Brazil and have any interest in owning a PlayStation 4, you better start saving up some serious cash. According to the Brazilian PlayStation Blog, Sony’s upcoming console will be priced at R$3,999, which equals $1,850 of our American bucks. Hmm … Isn’t that about the same price that the PlayStation 3 cost here in North America when it launched in 2006?

As indicated by Destructoid, the Xbox One will feature a R$2,200 price tag in Brazil, which comes out to $1,000. That’s still pretty rough, but it’s nowhere near as expensive as the PlayStation 4.

On the bright side, at least the console will be available fairly shortly after it hits our side of the globe. Brazil will get the PlayStation 4 on November 29, just a couple of weeks after the November 15 release in the West.
